Is there a widely available solar powered cell phone yet? Not really, but there are a large number of reliable and highly affordable solar powered mobile phone chargers. This means that anyone who needs to give their phone's batteries a frequent "boost" can do so simply by placing the charger in a convenient pool of sunshine and then plugging their phone into it.
