There are many reasons why a person would need a complete solar panel battery charging solution. One is for people who are on expeditions, or extended camping outings, where you are gone for weeks at a time. You will probably still need to do some kind of online work, keep connected to friends and family and certainly need to keep yourself entertained for that long. You may also need to communicate with the outside world in case of an emergency.

If you have an RV then you already understand that in order to get to those really awesome ground spots that are hard to find but excellent to stay, that you have to have some power to really enjoy everything that your RV has to offer. There are solar systems that can offer power for those big batteries as well. So when you think about it, having a solar system might be an investment and not a hassle or expense.

In the first case, there are many different solutions, but the best one are the types of chargers that are meant for such conditions. While they have many different kits to choose from, one of them stands out for powering all of your base camp needs, and much more.

You would probably want to consider a powerful kit like the Base Camp Kit, because how much is included. Their are (2) 350 watt batteries that are weather resistant and treated to be UV resistant. Also those batteries have small little monitor displays to read the power level and it includes built in fuses and temperature monitor so it operates correctly in conditions.

There are also 4 solar panels that are 30 watts each for an output of 120 watts. Plus they are M, meaning mono-crystalline panels. And there is an inverter that comes with it so you can simple plug in play and has the international port for multiple country use. And that produce 400 watts and a peak of 800.

This kit also includes 4 LED lights that are 3 watts each and has a nine foot cord that you can hang it off of something. Also it can be used for more than 20,000 hours and it is close to 45 watts of a regular bulb for it's brightness. It comes with the wall and cigarette adapter. The final cost for something like this is just $2,219.95.

And to top it off, you can build up from this kit by adding more panels, batteries, and lights for more power and enjoyment. Plus you can add from each one of those. The possibilities are endless. The sherpa batteries work well as add-on and their are their solar panels which fold up and have their own case to carry.

And for the next battery solution, you need to consider what you need. You will want a 60 watt panel system for the RV and you will need a deep cycle battery as well. Especially if you plan to run microwaves, ovens and other high power equipment. For optimal systems, you will want 120 watts of panels and 2 to 400 watts of battery power. This way you can charge in the day time and still use them at night.
